With how much money is spent every year with audits and monitoring employees, employers need to be more responsible for recognizing signs and creating healthier work environments.
We need to put more resources into studying the causes and signs of mental health issues. Like most things, understanding is the first step and we're already late to the table on understanding.
We need to be more vocal about our own stories with these issues so others become more comfortable and know they're not alone. We all suffer from this in some way.
